Since they bought it in 2003, Louis Denault and Nathalie Lane have turned this vineyard into one of the best wine producers in Québec. Most of the wine is produced from a hybrid variety called vandal-cliche, which was bred by a Laval University biologist to thrive in the area's climate. Here, the grape helps produce fresh, crisp white wines, as well as a delicious ice wine. The winery has also started producing small amounts of riesling, and does some tasty reds. In the summer, Panache Mobile, a food cart managed by Panache, one of Québec City's best restaurants, serves delicious lunches on a terrace with a stunning view of the St Lawrence River and Montmorency Falls.
