In what is basically a one-street town, outstanding food at affordable prices is served by knowledgeable, personable wait staff in an exquisite environment—this is the kind of place you dream about stumbling across but rarely do. Though the cuisine is primarily Italian, some Mediterranean, French, and Québecois influences are also in evidence, backed up by a fairly extensive and reasonably priced wine list. In the warmer seasons you can dine out on the covered terrace, while the fireplace inside makes those colder, harsher evenings downright cozy.
