Granby

Granby, the western gateway to the Eastern Townships, is home to a notable zoo. It also hosts a number of annual festivals: among them are the Festival of Mascots and Cartoon Characters, a great favorite with youngsters and families, and the Granby International, an antique-car competition held at the Granby Autodrome. Both of these are held in July. In September the Festival international de la chanson (International Song Festival) celebrates new French music and songs.
