With its central location, Mediterranean influence, and reasonable prices, this busy bistro is a favorite among politicians and the journalists who cover them. The menu, inspired by the south of France, changes constantly, but osso buco and a tender leg of lamb are among the regular choices. If you sit near the back, you can watch the chefs at work. This kitchen is often among those open latest.

Visit Quebec City once or twice a year. Eat at Les Freres at least once on each visit. Great food at reasonable prices. Great lunch and dinner specials. Friendly service.
