While Italian dishes like sausage risotto, saltimbocca scalopine (thin cut of veal and fresh sage), and smoked salmon pizza populate the menu, this is not your grandmother's trattoria. James Monti, the creator of the original Portofino eatery, worked with designer Olivier Dufour to produce a futuristic restaurant and wine bar. Glass and brass combine with pink-and-purple lighting to create a nightclub vibe. The restaurant opens at 11:30 for lunch and is a popular happy-hour spot.
