This turn-of-the-20th-century structure just outside the St-Jean Gate is a fancy hotel, an Italian bistro, and a 1920s cabaret-style dinner theater (the Théâtre Capitole) all rolled into one. The showbiz theme, with stars on the doors, has attracted Québec celebrities, including Céline Dion. Art deco furnishings fill the small, simple rooms. Painted ceilings have a blue-and-white sky motif, and white down-filled comforters dress the beds.
