Hôtel Cap Diamant Review

An eclectic collection of vintage furniture and ecclesiastical accents—stained glass from a church, a confessional door, even an angel or two—complement the decorative marble fireplaces, stone walls, and hardwood floors at this hotel made up of two adjacent 1826 houses. In the morning you can bring coffee, orange juice, and muffins to your room or dine in a sunroom that overlooks one of the Old City's few gardens.

We spent three nights in an 'economy' room this September. Economy gets you a double sized (54") bed. The attention to detail in the finishing in this hotel is fabulous. The location is great. The only thing uphill from here are the ramparts. If you like watching tv, be warned. The rooms are equiped with 12" crts. I did find the weather channel, which we needed. Oh, add yougurt to the listed menu. Yes the stairs are steep, but they are just a warmup for walking in Quebec.
