Québec City's aquarium has 3,500 specimens from as near as the St. Lawrence and as far as the Arctic. The aquarium's centerpiece is a massive three-level aquatic gallery of fresh- and saltwater animals and plants. It is the only aquarium in North America with examples of all five species of cold-water seals. Other mammals on display include polar bears and a walrus.
