Antiques district Review

Antiques shops cluster around rues St-Pierre and St-Paul, the latter once part of a business district packed with warehouses, stores, and businesses. After World War I, shipping and commercial activities plummeted, and the low rents attracted antiques dealers. Today their shops, together with numerous cafés, restaurants, boutique hotels, and art galleries, have made this one of the town's more fashionable areas.

    Halloween treat

Up from S.C. for the weekend. Stopped in at Heritage Antiques on St-Paul st. Quebec City, Mark I think the dealers name was, white hair dressed in black leather. The guy was insane; running around nervously, fidgiting and talking to himself when not talking "at" us. He was cheap and mean and dishonest. We ended up leaving with a spooky feeling without buying anything. Good place to go with a steel-nuckled friend on Halloween
