Musée du Fort

Musée du Fort Review

A 30-minute sound-and-light show reenacts the area's important battles, including the Battle of the Plains of Abraham and the 1775 attack by American generals Arnold and Montgomery. The museum's permanent expositions feature a history on soldiers' weaponry, uniforms, and military insignia; a glossary of lesser-known New France facts; and a diorama on the background of the show and building. A 400-square-foot replica of the city—complete with ships, cannons, and soldiers lined up for battle is the highlight of museum and helps guests visualize the area's strategic importance.
