Fodor's Review

A soaring indoor atrium with balconies overlooking a tropical garden, swimming pool, and hot tub lends a sense of drama to this family-friendly hotel. Its eclectic design makes use of everything from Asian styles to art deco. Elegant rooms with antique gold accents have views of either the Old City or the atrium; some rooms on the seventh floor and up have a view of the St. Lawrence River.

easy elegance in the heart of the old city

we arrived early before our room was ready. the front desk offered to store our luggage and gave us a map of the city and explained how to get to some of the sights. this hotel is one block from the city gate and the old city. when we came back a couple of hours later, (1 hour earlier than official check-in), our room was ready. everything was clean, comfortable and elegant. the room was tastefully decorated with plenty of storage space in the

closet and built in bureau. breakfast was included in the package. we had a wide choice of entrees with everything from eggs cooked to please, waffles, pancakes, french toast, juices, and fresh fruit. the pool and hot tub were usually busy, but we were there on canada day weekend, so there were lots of families. the fitness center included the sauna, showers, and locker area. we were within easy walking distance to all the sights. we would definitely stay there again
