By Air in Montréal

Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (still commonly called Dorval), 22½ km (14 mi) west of the city, handles all passenger flights.

A taxi from Trudeau International to downtown costs about C$35. All taxi companies must charge the same rate for travel between the airport and downtown.

La Québecoise shuttles are a much cheaper alternative for getting to and from the airport. Shuttles leave from Montréal Central Bus Station and pick up and drop off passengers at the downtown train station, as well as at major hotels. Shuttles run every 20 minutes from 4 AM to 11 PM and cost C$14 one-way, C$24 round-trip.
