Fodor's Review

Under the direction of influential and renowned conductor Kent Nagano, Montréal's beloved OSM plays programs that include masterful renditions of the classics, with contemporary works thrown into the mix. The 2015 season included evenings devoted to Mahler’s Symphony no. 1, Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique as well as the Tchaikovsky Festival: three concerts offering a panorama of the composer’s orchestral work. The orchestra's home, the Maison symphonique de Montréal, is part of the Place des Arts complex.
