Le Mas des Oliviers
Le Mas des Oliviers Review
For a textbook definition of "classic French Bistro," Le Mas des Oliviers is a must visit. It's been around since 1966 and the owners pride themselves on the menu items, some of which, like the fish soup, have been on the menu 40-plus years. The dining room looks the part with white tablecloths, dark wood beams, exposed brick walls, and French art posters on the walls. The staff ups the elegance with vests and ties. Other popular menu staples include lamb shank and veal with mushrooms. Not surprisingly, the kitchen does excellent frog's legs and escargot.
