Les 400 Coups Review

Located in Old Montréal but away from the main tourist areas, this is a low-key destination for an intimate dinner, where you know the food will be superb and the wine list will have well chosen options. The decor is grandiose and includes a very large mural taking up one long wall, a vintage tin tile ceiling and the open kitchen located at the back of the dining room. The market fresh menu changes frequently and focuses on local and seasonal products used creatively. Specials like duck magret with buckwheat, carrots, endive, honey, caraway and Nova Scotia trout with yogurt foam, beets, and basil. Lunch is served only on Thursday and Friday. A five-course tasting menu is available at C$75 per person.
