Dominion Square Tavern Review

New owners rescued this bistro, throwing out video gambling terminals and big-screen televisions; now, the original floors, lamps, and walls from 1927 set the tone, together with antique chairs and a 40-foot brass bar. Chef Eric Depuis makes everything from scratch, including the ketchup, tonic, and ginger ale. His menu is a bit of everything, ranging from beet salad, corn fritters, and deviled eggs to pulled pork sandwiches and the ploughman's lunch. End your evening with the well-chosen cheese plate, featuring raw milk cheddar and Guinness cheddar. Night owls take note: it's open until midnight.
