Le Petit Italien
Le Petit Italien Review
Three key factors conspire to make this a great Montréal dining spot: late-night hours seven days a week, a fabulous terrace for warm summer evenings, and savory comfort food at reasonable prices. One wall of this modern bistro is lined with glass mason jars containing the house tomato sauce, reminding diners that everything served at Le Petit Italien is prepared from scratch. One bite of the linguine buongustaio pasta dish, with prosciutto, chicken, grapes, basil, and a white wine sauce, and you're a believer, though the simple and delicious spaghetti pomodoro, with that house tomato sauce is also a winner. This restaurant is not very big, so reservations are recommended.
