Méchant Boeuf
Méchant Boeuf Review
If you have a yen for the rock and roll past, Hôtel Nelligan's casual dining room trades on nostalgia with a 1980s soundtrack and such comfort-food favorites as beer-can chicken, crab cakes, hanger steak, designer poutine with Migneron de Charlevoix cheese, and the mighty Méchant hamburger. For dessert, the cheese cake is a splendid treat for two to share. The food may be humble, but the atmosphere is cheeky and chic, with an interior waterfall, brick walls, and an illuminated bar. A DJ spins music Thursday to Sunday, and different rock bands perform Wednesday night.
