Fodor's Review:

Many Montrealers got their introduction to sushi at Katsura, the first restaurant in the city to make raw fish trendy. It has been overtaken since then, but the pretty waitresses in silk kimonos, the Japanese prints, and the deep red furnishings still attract happy crowds of twentysomethings on dates looking for a little elegance. And such delicacies as the spicy Kamikaze Roll—salmon, avocado, fried onion, and fish roe—or the unagi (grilled eel) are still worth a try.
