Book NowInterContinental Montréal Review
On the edge of Old Montréal, this award-winning luxury hotel across from Toqué! restaurant is part of the Montréal World Trade Center, drawing international business travelers and design-savvy tourists who appreciate decor accents like leather and suede bed fixtures. And let's not overlook the 40" flat screens. Heavy drapes pull back to reveal floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking downtown or Old Montréal and the waterfront. Bathrooms have separate marble tubs and sexy showers. Buzz is strong, literally, about the new absinthe bar, Sarah B, where the "green fairy" elixir is served from a real absinthe fountain. The hotel's lively brasserie, Osco!, serves fine French provincial cuisine. A footbridge links the hotel's main building with the 18th-century Nordheimer Building, once a piano factory, for meeting rooms and historic oomph.

This hotel was comfortable and luxurious, and we were able to get an excellent rate online for a short weekend stay. It is definitely convenient, as it's only a couple of blocks from the oldest part of Vieux Montreal, while still being near the convention center and public transportation.
