Fodor's Review:

The two elegant mansions that make up this luxury hotel were built at the turn of the 20th century, and have high ceilings and plaster moldings. The sumptuous furnishings throughout reflect the beaux-arts architecture. The marble fireplaces in many of the guest rooms and public rooms still work—a treat on chilly evenings. Pros : huge rooms with fireplaces; easy access to museum district. Cons : located at busy intersection; has no in-hotel Métro access; not much night life nearby.
