Hôtel Terrasse Royale Review
Near the Oratoire St-Joseph in a busy local neighborhood called Côte-des-Neiges, this servicable hotel attracts tourists and families who enjoy ethnic markets and restaurants where you can dine cheaply and well. Getting downtown is no problem, either: the Côte-des-Neiges métro is just across the street. Not much can be done about the hotel's drab exterior, but the clean and comfortable rooms got a long-needed makeover last year. Gone are the floral bedspreads! Enter the plasma televisions, new shower stalls, white linens, and safes big enough to hold laptops.
