If you like a little drama with your sushi, Kaizen's black-clad hostesses, floor-to-ceiling red curtains, and glassed-in wine cellar certainly add a dash of theater to dinner. It's a buzz place that attracts the kind of well-dressed patrons who can't bear to leave their cell phone and Blackberry at home. The sushi, maki, lambas, sashimi, and seafood soups are all well above average, and the Kobe beef is just daring enough to be interesting without being intimidating. Try the oysters Tri Afeller, mixed with spinach and shallots.
