Croix sur la Montagne

Fodor's Review:

The 102-foot-high steel cross at the top of Mont-Royal has been a city landmark since it was erected in 1924, largely with money raised through the efforts of 85,000 high-school students. In 1993 the 249 bulbs used to light the cross were replaced with an ultramodern fiber-optic system.
