Fodor's Review:

You—or more likely, your kids—can design an energy-efficient bike, decode an electronic message, analyze data from satellite photos, try using an MRI image to make a diagnosis, or just watch an IMAX movie on a giant screen at Montréal's interactive science center. Games, puzzles, and hands-on experiments make it an ideal place for rainy days or even fair ones. The center also includes Porto Fiorentino, a 1,000-seat family restaurant that overlooks the harbor and presents cooking demonstrations and piano concerts. In the neighboring food court, staff members give lessons about nutrition and agriculture.

  • Cost: Exhibit halls C$10, IMAX C$12, combined ticket C$17
  • Open: May 10-Sept. 16, daily 9 AM-9 PM; Sept. 16 to May 10, weekdays 8:30-4, weekends 9:30-5
  • Metro: Place-d'Armes
