Café Ferreira

Fodor's Review:

A huge mural of antique pottery fragments decorates the pale-yellow walls of this high-ceiling room—an elegant setting for its "haute" version of Portuguese cuisine. The traditional caldo verde, a soup made with kale and sausage, shares space on the menu with grilled fresh sardines; baked salt cod topped with a tomato, onion, and pepper salsa; and arroz di marisco, a paella-like dish full of seafood, garlic, and onions.
