Some of the best grilled meat in Montréal is what attracts big, noisy crowds to Rotisserie Panama. The dining room is simple, with beige walls and blue checkered tablecloths, but the roasted chicken and crispy lamb chops are excellent, as is the grilled red snapper and sea bass. Sides of horta—boiled bitter greens with lemon—and roasted Greek-style potatoes make any meal complete. Extended families come on the weekend for the roasted baby lamb, which is truly delicious. A meal at Panama wouldn't be complete without a heaping plate of loukoumades, Greek-style balls of fried dough smothered in honey. Best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable.
