Tucked away on a small side street in Mile End, this classic pizzeria with white-washed walls and pressed tin ceiling turns out some of the best wood-burning oven pizza the city has to offer. Favorites include the Magpie Margherita with bocconcini (small mozarella cheese balls), fresh basil, and San Marzano tomatoes, and the three-cheese meatball pizza. Start with fresh oysters; they have a fantastic selection at affordable prices. The simple homemade desserts are a sure hit as well.
