Fodor's Review

Stepping into this saffron-scented sanctuary surrounded by the noise and tumult of boulevard St-Laurent is startling enough to make visitors do a double take. Walls the burnt orange color of the Dalai Lama's robes provide the backdrop for traditional Tibetan dishes such as momos (beef, shrimp, or cheese dumplings), churu (soup with blue cheese and lamb), and the fiery and sweet chicken chili. There's also an extensive list of Indian dishes, like curry lamb and butter chicken—all to be washed down with Om's famous Tibetan butter tea. The eateryis an excellent option for both vegetarians and budget-strapped travelers alike.
