If you're driving from the airport into town, take Route 540 (Autoroute Duplessis) to Route 175 (boulevard Laurier), which becomes Grande Allée and leads right to Vieux-Québec. The ride takes about 30 minutes and may be slightly longer (45 minutes or so) during rush hours (7:30-8:30 AM into town and 4-5:30 PM leaving town).
Private limo service is expensive, starting at C$65 for the ride from the airport into Québec City. Taxis are available immediately outside the airport exit near the baggage-claim area.
