Fairholm National Historic Inn Review
The Fairholm, a designated National Historic Site, is the primo Maritime example of the architectural Picturesque movement. Featuring inlaid-hardwood floors, stunning stain glass windows, fine antiques, and imported wallpaper, the 1838 property has been—in one Fodorite's words—"restored to perfection." Spacious guest rooms have fireplaces and enviable extras such as soaker tubs or bay windows.
