Georgetown

The pint-sized capital of Kings County, at the tip of a peninsula jutting into Cardigan Bay, was a major shipbuilding center in the 19th century. Thanks to its location—and early settlers’ vocation—the town has both wraparound sea views and a collection of charming, Victorian-era buildings. Georgetown is also a mere five minutes from Brudenell River Provincial Park (the county’s largest such facility).
