Since full-blown resorts are so rare in this portion of the province, Mill River Resort provides a welcome change of pace. Amenities range from spa facilities and tennis courts to an indoor pool with a curling 90-foot waterslide, and one of Canada's finest championship golf courses. The resort is inside Mill River Provincial Park, where boating and biking are available, though golfing is this property's true raison d'être. Many guest rooms overlook the park, as does the restaurant.
