For a complete listing of emergency services, you can always check the Yellow Pages or ask for assistance at your hotel desk. The Dental Emergency Clinic operates from 8 am to midnight. Many Pharma Plus Drugmarts are open until midnight; some branches of Shoppers Drug Mart are open 24 hours.

All international embassies are in Ottawa; there are some consulates in Toronto, including a U.S. consulate. The consulate is open weekdays 8:30–3, but most services are offered only before noon.
