The waterfront entertainment complex stretches along three man-made islands and includes Soak City, downtown Toronto's only water park complete with tube rides, a sandy beach, and lounge pool; pedal boats at Bob's Boat Yard; the Wilderness Adventure Ride; and the Mars Simulator Ride. The Cinesphere, an enclosed dome with a six-story movie screen, uses the world's first IMAX projection system, a Canadian invention. The 16,000-seat outdoor Molson Amphitheatre stages performances by singers and rock groups throughout summer, and the Atlantis Pavilions is a 32,000-square-foot entertainment and dining facility. Live children's entertainment on two stages is included in the admission price to the park. The Big Comfy Couch, Toopy and Binoo, and other children's favorites are featured. The Play All Day Pass allows unlimited use of most rides and attractions, including daytime Cinesphere IMAX and large-format films. Weekends in September bring several annual events to this venue: the Great White North Dragon Boat Challenge, the Toronto In-Water Boat Show, and the Fall Fishing Festival and Kids' Fishing Derby.
