Wayne Gretzky's Toronto
Wayne Gretzky's Toronto Review
The pregame Jays and Leafs fans and the post-comedy-club crowd from Second City next door flock to this sports bar and Continental restaurant. When he's in town, the eponymous hockey icon and owner can often be seen in the crowd. The sports bar downstairs has Gretzky memorabilia, 18 flat-screen TVs (broadcasting all sports, not just hockey) and pub-style grub. On the cabana-chic rooftop patio (open from 11 am May through September), considered one of the best in town, a faux waterfall babbles, strings of white lights twinkle, and partygoers order barbecue and buckets of mini Coronas and make themselves heard over the blasting music.
