Sony Centre for the Performing Arts

Sony Centre for the Performing Arts Review

This cavernous 3,191-seat hall boasts an international program of diverse yet mostly mainstream artists such as the Merchants of Bollywood, Russell Brand, the Dance Theater of Harlem, and Hong Kong power duo Adam Cheng and Liza Wang. When this theater opened in 1960 as the O'Keefe Centre, it showcased the world premiere of Camelot, starring Julie Andrews, Richard Burton, and Robert Goulet. A 2010 renovation restored original elements of the design and made technological improvements.
