Fifteen of the 22 floors in this Ryerson University residence become value nonstudent lodging from early May through late August. There are four apartment-style units on each floor; within each unit—equipped with linens, towels, and pillows—are either four or five bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each unit has a common area, a television lounge, and a kitchen (bring your own dishes and utensils). The roof deck has grills for guest use and a great view of the city. The fifth floor has a terrace. Restaurant serves three breakfast specials daily. Pros: sauna, rooftop sundeck, barbeques, coin-operated lockers. Cons: no-frills décor, may be noisy, housekeeping may be slack.
