Cozy and unpretentious, this gastro-pub stands out from the other restaurants in the area that cater mostly to those with a corporate AmEx. An airy room of white walls, ceilings, and counters is the backdrop for pub classics like chicken liver pâté or salt cod fritters, but updated with gourmet touches like aioli and piri piri for the latter. Moist and juicy roasted brined pork with black-eyed pea ragout is comforting, as is the house-ground sirloin bacon cheeseburger with aioli.
