The Bloor Hot Docs Cinema
The Bloor Hot Docs Cinema Review
If you like your films factual, informative, and inspiring then the Bloor is for you. Come here for documentaries on political movements, such as A Fierce Green: The Battle for a Living Planet, or perhaps somthing more esoteric like Mussels in Love. The only documentary-focused cinema in the world, the Bloor is the permanent home of the annual Hot Docs festival; numerous other festivals, including TIFF, have screenings here too. There are occasional showings of good old classics and rep-cinema favorites, such as Fitzcaraldo or the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Tickets are C$11. Festival screenings and some special presentations are pricier.
