Fodor's Review:

Mistura's combination of comfort and casual luxury and its innovative menu make for an ongoing buzz. Choose from one of more than a dozen delectable starters, like savory Maryland crab cakes with lemon aioli on chopped salad or grilled calamari. Duck two ways—crispy confit and roasted breast with port-infused dried cherries—is a specialty. Balsamic-glazed lamb ribs are always a hit, as are homemade pastas like veal ravioli. Daily whole fish is a carefully thought-out triumph. Vegetarians are given their due with dishes like red-beet risotto. Sopra ($$-$$$), a second-floor Italian lounge and jazz bar, offers bite-size delights. Conceived as a million-dollar playroom for grown-ups, it's all zebrawood and onyx, tapas and tipples, complete with an $80,000 Steinway.
