Jamie Kennedy Wine Bar

Fodor's Review:

This sleek, spare wine bar and dining room is amazingly popular, due in part to the charm of owner-chef Kennedy and key staff. The wine bar has dining counters, a few tables, and a wall of the chef's own preserves in gleaming glass jars. Sit on comfy bar stools and watch as Kennedy sautés, grills, seasons, and cooks. From the daily-changing list of 21 items, favorites are an oval scoop of pâté with the chef's own pickled veggies, and tempting artisanal cheeses. Sommeliers offer tasting glasses from a spectacular list to match each dish. There is usually a wait for seating.
