Global Village Backpackers Review

Formerly known as the Spadina Hotel, this centrally located hostel is filled with international students roaming the world. It's friendly, with a lounge, patio, and bar on premises. Clean linens and towels are supplied at check-in, and the welcoming staff know the city very well. The airport express shuttle drops you two blocks from the hostel. Dorms start at $27 per person and the rooms sleep 6 to 10, but most are quads, sleeping 4, with shared bathrooms. Six private rooms (C$78) have double beds. There are many freebies here, including Wi-Fi and a daily pancake breakfast.
