Kensington Market Review

This outdoor market occupying a cluster of city blocks just west of Chinatown has a vibrant ethnic mix of casual restaurants and shops selling everything from cheese, coffee, nuts, and spices to vegan Chinese food, Latin American standbys, and Caribbean takeout. Vintage-clothing lovers delight in the shops tucked into houses lining the streets. Saturday is the best day to go, preferably by public transit; parking is difficult.
