Along the Queen Street strip, the Rivoli has long been a major showcase for the more daring arts in Toronto. A back room functions as a performance space, with progressive and indie rock, improvisational comedy troupes, and more. Bands have a cover charge, usually C$5-C$10. Asian-influenced cuisine and good steak are served in the dining room. The walls are lined with work (all for sale) by up-and-coming local artists. There's also a bar, and a pool hall upstairs.
