Fodor's Review

On a street lined with antiques shops, bookstores, and galleries sits this funky Cajun and Creole restaurant. Perch at the bar, order a martini and hush puppies, and chat with the resident psychic. Whimsical knickknacks adorn every inch of the place, and dining rooms on two floors offers a market-driven menu. Some constants are Bourbon Street chicken (blackened boneless chicken breast in lemon butter sauce), cracker catfish (a fillet coated with spiced crackers) served with jalapeño tartar sauce, and the Nawlins bread pudding with bourbon sauce.
