This 2010 addition to the Yorkville scene is swanky, yet soulful. A modern staircase greets you upon entrance to a dimly lighted space, filled with put-together patrons; you can sit either on the sleek upper level or the rustic lower level with wooden tables and exposed brick walls. The wine selection is extensive, dominated by European classics and many Italian regional choices. Regulars enjoy reliable and familiar choices like capellini with tomatoes, capers, anchovies, and olives; oven-baked whole fish with lemon and parsley; and the Caprese pizza with cherry tomatoes, bocconcini cheese, arugula, and shaved Grana Padano cheese.
