Stir-fries and noodle dishes were joined by Continental choices when new owners took over this Stratford institution in 2010. Additional options draw from the bounty of nearby wine and food producers and may include such dishes as Perth County pork tenderloin stuffed with caramelized apple and chèvre from C'est Bon Cheese (in St. Mary's) or pan-seared elk with a red-wine jus and blue-potato hash. The casual dining room is modernized with painted black tables, globe lights, high-back leather chairs, and artwork by Stratford Festival set designer John Pennoyer on the walls. Service is welcoming.
