Fodor's Expert Review Elements
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Consistent with the aesthetics of Taboo Resort, Elements offers luxurious and contemporary international cuisine in a structured, modern, and subdued dining room, with sleek black wood veneers, hardwood floors, and a wall of lakefront windows. The Mediterrean, French, and Canadian-inspired menu changes seasonally, but is well-represented by dishes like steelhead trout with Ontario asparagus and couscous, and grilled ribeye with shallot bordelaise and king oyster mushrooms. The wine list features more than 350 consignment wines, not available in the LCBO, and includes their own private label. For the highly acclaimed Culinary Theatre experience (C$100 per person; C$160 with wine), bar stools surround the chef's station, giving you an up-close view of the preparation of your meal. Wine classes are offered on Saturdays.
