Cross-Country Skiing
Thousands flock to Gatineau Park (33 Scott Rd., Chelsea. 819/827-2020. www.canadascapital.gc.ca/gatineau) for the annual Keskinada Loppet, Canada's largest cross-country ski competition held in mid-February. The park offers 200 km (124 mi) of groomed ski trails for all levels. Gatineau Park Visitors Centre has trail maps and an area where you can wax your skis.
